My name is Ty, the founder of Tylan Aromatics. I started this company because of the profound effect that scent and fragrance had on me. I found out about Oud oil, or Agarwood oil about 8 years ago and have loved it ever since. In 2025, I started going deep into blending my own perfumes. I would search out the best natural, often organic essential oils and mix them together to create unique scents.

Starting off, the fragrances were not all that great. As with anything, when you begin something you are not the best. After much trial and error, in early 2026 I began making perfumes I was truly proud of. Scent is truly something that can uplift mood, and increase wellness when used appropriately.

Natural scents can strongly influence our mood by interacting with the brain’s limbic system, which is tied to emotion and memory. For example, lavender is widely known for its calming effect, helping reduce stress and promote relaxation, while citrus scents like orange or lemon can boost energy, improve focus, and create a more uplifting, positive feeling. Vetiver is known for its sedative and grounding effects, sandalwood for reducing anxiety and providing anti-inflammatory skincare benefits, and agarwood for its calming and antimicrobial properties

I personally believe scent is something that can have a huge impact on our mood, well-being, and even overall happiness. A little bit about myself; I love the outdoors, hiking in the woods, trail-running and walking. I also love loose leaf tea. I often use tea extracts and tea tinctures in my fragrances. Many of my fragrances are made to reflect nature and remind you of all the great aromas of nature.
